As a member at Sonata level or above we are delighted to invite you to join us for pre-concert receptions at our performances throughout the Season.
To book for a reception please click the book now button on the concert of your choice below.
Spaces at our receptions are strictly limited and available on a first come, first served basis. If your reception choice shows as “sold out” please try selecting another concert.
How many Receptions can I attend in a Season?
- Virtuoso – 8 Concerts (inclusive of the Opening and Closing concert)
- Symphony – 4 Concerts
- Concerto – 2 Concerts
- Sonata – 1 Concert
Are Concert tickets included in the reservation?
- You will require your own concert tickets for the reception that you are attending.
Can I bring a friend to the Reception?
- If you and your partner are named on your Circle membership you can both attend the reception. Simply select two tickets for the reception when booking.
- You can bring a friend with you to the reception. Guest tickets cost £15.00. Please add a guest ticket to your booking alongside your own complimentary ticket.
Where are the receptions held?
- For our Edinburgh concerts, the receptions take place in the Mezzo Suite on the Grand Circle level of the Usher Hall.
- In Glasgow the receptions are usually held in the Clyde Alcove on level 3 of the Concert Hall at the top of the main staircase. We will contact you if the reception space changes.
What time does the reception begin?
- Our receptions are from 6.45pm until the concert begins at 7.30pm. The reception continues during the interval if there is one during the performance.
I am an Aberdeen/Dundee/Perth member of the Circle. Can I come to a reception?
- If you have your own tickets for the Edinburgh or Glasgow performance you are welcome to join the reception for that event. For details of receptions at your own venue please contact us at circle@rsno.org.uk
Will there be receptions at the concerts in 2025?
- Concert receptions for the second half of the Season will be available to book in the New Year.
