Lionel Bringuier replaces Tabita Berglund conducting Tchaikovsky’s Pathétique Posted Mon 17 April 2023
The Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) is grateful to Lionel Bringuier for stepping in to replace Tabita Berglund who is unable to join the Orchestra for this week’s concerts. The concert programme remains unchanged as Bringuier joins acclaimed American violinist Randall Goosby, performing Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto.
Bringuier currently holds the position of Artiste Associé in his hometown with Opéra de Nice, having previously served as Music Director of the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich. He has recently made guest appearances with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Houston Symphony Orchestra, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
