RSNO to perform music of FINAL FANTASY® live in concert Posted Fri 9 February 2024
The Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) will bring music from the hugely successful Final Fantasy series to Scottish concert halls this November for two performances of ‘Final Symphony’. One of the best-selling video games series of all time and a Square Enix franchise, Final Fantasy is famous for its innovation, visuals and music.
The announcement comes ahead of the launch of the RSNO’s 2024:25 Concert Season, marking a third successive year of concerts celebrating the music of video games in the Orchestra’s programme. Reflecting the success of Scotland’s Studio and the RSNO’s previous video games music concerts, the continued presence of this music genre demonstrates a commitment to extend beyond traditional classical music audiences as Scotland’s National Orchestra.
Scotland’s Studio is home to the RSNO, recording high quality performances of classical, television, film and video game scores.
Audiences can attend the ‘Final Symphony’ concerts at the Usher Hall, Edinburgh (Fri 8 November 2024) and the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall (Sat 9 November 2024). Find out more: rsno.org.uk/final-symphony/
